    Apple tries to block sales in Germany of the modified tablet Samsung Galaxy

    Apple seeks to block Samsung Electronics plans to sell the modified tablet Galaxy Tab 10.1, which was released in Germany in an attempt to circumvent the earlier injunction obtained by Apple, a company spokesman said.

    Regional Court in Dusseldorf blocked in September sales in Germany of the original version of 10-inch tablet Samsung, Apple once convince the judge that Samsung products like too much of the iPad.

    To circumvent this prohibition, Samsung modify the appearance of the tablet and create Galaxy Tab 10.1N, which is aimed at the latest move by Apple. The hearing is scheduled for December 22 in court in Dusseldorf.

    Samsung is the only manufacturer of Android tablets that failed to make a breakthrough in sales of Apple iPad, though Amazon is expected to do the same with its Kindle Fire.

    Samsung sold about 1.6 million tablets Galaxy
    in the third quarter of this year, say analysts Canalys. But Apple still dominates this market and has sold over 11 million units for the same period.
